Robert Burns (25 January 1759 – 21 July 1796). He was a Scottish poet and a lyricist to. In Scotland is one of the most important writers and he is the national poet. Robert is the best known of the poets who have written in the Scots language, but he wrote a lot in English to.


He liked a lot the romanticism and after his death a lot of persons used him to inspire them. In 2009 he was voted by the Scottish people as being the Greatest Scot.
